Gardening know-how
Sam has RHS gardening education, so pruning is done at the right time, plants go where they will thrive and a lawn is fed when it can use it.
A gardener and handyman based in Weybridge, looking after gardens across the town and the places around it.
Who Sam is
Do It All Gardener Sam is Sam: a gardener and handyman based in Weybridge. His own flyer describes him as Weybridge’s down-the-road, reliable, affordable man, and that is a fair summary of how he works.
Gardening is the heart of it. Sam looks after lawns, hedges, borders and trees, plants beds and vegetable gardens, and clears gardens that have been left to grow wild. He has RHS gardening education, and he works with his own petrol and electric tools.
The do-it-all part is everything else: jet washing, painting and decorating, flat-pack furniture, minor repairs, clearances and labouring. Customers who find a gardener they trust tend to ask what else he can do. Sam’s answer is usually yes.

What to expect
Sam has RHS gardening education, so pruning is done at the right time, plants go where they will thrive and a lawn is fed when it can use it.
He brings his own petrol and electric tools, from mowers to hedge cutters. You do not need to supply anything.
Sam has public liability insurance and a recent DBS check. The DBS certificate is available on request, and so are references.

Local
Gardens here vary more than you might think. Up on St George’s Hill and around Oatlands the soil is light and sandy: it drains fast, warms early and goes hungry by midsummer. Down by the Thames and the Wey it can be heavy and wet. Mature oaks, pines and rhododendrons are everywhere, and many of the town’s trees are protected.
A local gardener works with all of that. It is also simply easier: Sam is down the road, so fitting in a visit, or coming back to finish something, is not a day’s expedition.
Word of mouth
A Weybridge resident asked a local Facebook group to recommend a gardener, and went with Sam. They came back to tell the group he had done a fantastic job, that they would definitely be using him again, and that anyone who needs a gardener or handyman should get in touch with him.
Retold from a post in the Weybridge Network group on Facebook, which Sam shared on his Nextdoor page. See Sam on Nextdoor.
